Native American Jump Start receives a General Operating grant from Wyoming Community Foundation to support the next generation of Native leaders.

Jackson, WY – Native American Jump Start (NAJS)  is honored to announce it has been awarded a Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) Grant to enhance its mission of providing opportunities of growth and success to high potential Native American individuals through education and employment.

NAJS is a nonprofit organization serving Native American communities in Wyoming who face significant economic and educational barriers that limit access to higher education, job opportunities, and long-term financial stability. Native individuals experience higher poverty rates, lower educational attainment, and fewer employment opportunities than the general population. NAJS hopes to use these funds for general operations expenses in order to continue to break down barriers for Native American youth.

“Native American Jump Start is honored to receive funding from Wyoming Community Foundation” says David Deschenes, Advancement Officer, “This funding will greatly offset the behind the scenes cost of administering programs to support Native American individuals.”
